A Brief History
Steeped in 1000 years of history, Priory Park has been a medieval settlement, home to Augustinian monks, subjected to the whims of Cromwell, rescued by Wolsey and a hub of smugglers intrigue in the 18th century. It is said the legendary Margaret Catchpole lived and worked at the farm during the late 18th Century.
Over the past 100 years it thrived as a working farm with Alnesbourne Priory Dairy delivering milk in and around Ipswich. In the early 20th century it formed part of a Gentlemans private estate before finally evolving into the prime location it has become.
