Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Administrator to join our Technical Team at our Wigan site. This role supports the team in maintaining the quality systems essential to the production of our market-leading homes. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, keen to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Technical Manager.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and responding to departmental queries.
  • Support the efficient day-to-day operations of the Technical Office.
  • Provide accurate technical information to factory staff.
  • Collate, analyse, and report key data.
  • Maintain and update Bills of Materials and other manufacturing documents.
  • Create and manage spreadsheets and production paperwork.
  • Support the Sales Department by processing customer requirements.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the Technical Manager or supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recent experience in an administrative role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and via phone/Teams.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (A–C) including Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible.
  • Organised, logical, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • An understanding of manufacturing systems, Bills of Materials, and stock codes.
  • Good team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • CAD skills in 2D and 3D (preferably AutoCAD LT) – training can be provided for the right candidate.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
